  • Set up a weekly or monthly budget- keep track of deposits and withdrawals
  • Ratios while cooking- double or make a smaller amount of the recipe & figure the new amount of each ingredient
  • Measure objects and rooms to calculate perimeter and area
  • Look at ads to see prices per square foot and calculate cost
  • Calculate tax and/ or discounts while shopping.
